High-Efficiency Particulate Air (HEPA) and Ultra-Low Particulate Air (ULPA) filters are two of the most common types of air filters used wherever super clean air is required (e.g., biomedical manufacturing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, semiconductor / high-tech manufacturing, hospitals and cleanrooms).
Typical HEPA filters have an efficiency of 99.97% at 0.3 microns, while ULPA filters have an efficiency rating in excess of 99.999% at 0.12 microns.
We carry the complete line of Camfil HEPA and ULPA filters, and also provide fan-powered HEPA filter panels by Envirco.
There are several types of HEPA and ULPA filters, classified by efficiency and construction, and RP Fedder can provide the best filter for your particular need.
- Box / Rigid Cell Filters
- Cartridge Filters
- Fan Filters – designed to prevent the accumulation of lint and other large particles around the motor and fan
- Filter Mat: filters made of fibers that trap particles entrained in the flow of air or gas.
- Panel Filter: designed to prevent the accumulation of lint and other large particles in and around heating and ventilation systems.
- Pre-Filter: positioned before the main filter in a filtration system to reduce particulate loading in the system and allow the filter to operate more efficiently.
